In Verses from the Bible , we have selected twenty-four passages from the Bible that are familiar and comforting. In addition, the images of stained glass windows illuminate the words, just as those windows illuminate the churches where they were photographed.

As our understanding of the technical requirements for the images in our books grew, we became drawn to the properties of stained glass. Stained glass often contained just the high-contrast colors and limited focal points we were looking for and transferred beautifully to the printed page.

The familiar verses, large print type and high-contrast photographs help engage and stimulate older adults who may be struggling with memory loss, low vision or simply boredom.
